A public commitment to how SMMARUN holds the responsibility of AI in Indian institutions.

A public, durable commitment to how SMMARUN holds the responsibility of AI in Indian institutions. Written for the enterprises we serve, the people teaching the next generation, the regulators shaping the frame, and the communities whose lives AI decisions touch.

Ten commitments

Ten standing commitments. Each one a line we hold ourselves to, and a line we will not cross.

i.

Patient & Customer First.

Every AI system SMMARUN governs, trains on, or deploys through its platform partners places the end consumer, the patient, the borrower, the policyholder, the student, as the principal. No governance framework, no masterclass curriculum, and no platform deployment proceeds without answering: "What happens to the person at the other end of this decision?"

ii.

Deterministic, Not Procedural.

SMMARUN's governance posture produces verifiable, cryptographic evidence, not just checklists. Through ByteVerity's deterministic substrate, every AI action carries a signed receipt that any third party can verify offline. The audit trail is captured concurrently, not reconstructed.

iii.

Regulator-Ready by Design.

SMMARUN builds governance architectures that anticipate the regulator's next audit, not just the current one. Controls are aligned simultaneously to DPDPA, RBI FREE-AI, SEBI, IRDAI, ICMR, SAHI, MeitY 7 Sutras, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001. When regulation tightens, the client's posture is already there.

iv.

Transparency & Accountability.

SMMARUN publishes its methodology (the Puneet Mohan 5P Model FrameWorkx™), its regulatory alignment mappings, and its engagement outcomes. Named accountability is non-negotiable: every governance framework SMMARUN implements carries named model owners, named approvers, and named escalation paths.

v.

Fairness as a Mandate.

AI Fairness is a core pillar, not an afterthought. SMMARUN evaluates every AI system for bias across caste, gender, demographic, economic, and other India-specific dimensions using validated tooling. The governance posture requires documented bias testing before any AI system enters production.

vi.

Knowledge Transfer, Not Dependency.

Every SMMARUN engagement is designed to build the client's internal capability. The masterclass trains the client's own leaders. The governance framework is owned by the client. The platform is deployed inside the client's own environment.

vii.

India-First, Global-Ready.

SMMARUN is founded in India, for India's regulated enterprise. Every framework is built for the Indian regulatory stack first, DPDPA, RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, ICMR, MeitY, and then mapped to international standards (EU AI Act, NIST, ISO) for GCCs serving global parent companies. The governance works both ways.

viii.

Continuous, Not Episodic.

AI governance is not a one-time audit. SMMARUN engagements include regulatory-change watch, continuous monitoring protocols, and annual refresh cycles. The operating posture moves with the regulator, not behind it.

ix.

Community & Ecosystem Contribution.

SMMARUN contributes to India's AI governance ecosystem through published research (the Library/Essays programme), academic partnerships, think-tank participation, and open engagement with regulators and policy makers. The practice is strengthened by the ecosystem it serves.

x.

Measured by Outcomes.

SMMARUN's success is measured by client outcomes: examiner-ready posture achieved, regulatory audits survived, audit deficiencies prevented, governance capability built internally, and AI investments that deliver returns because the controls held while the system moved.
